Bess Streeter Aldrich Museum
Visit the Aldrich Museum that honors one of Nebraska’s most beloved authors, Bess Streeter Aldrich. Aldrich lived in Elmwood from 1909 to 1946. Her legacy of books and stories continue to fulfill her hope that as future generations read her works, they will understand the joys, the struggles, and the strengths that were all part of pioneering in the Midwest. The museum is located within the library building. The museum is available for viewing by calling the number listed below for an appointment or by stopping at the Aldrich House, 204 East F Street, during regular tour hours.
