Bess Streeter Aldrich Memorial Highway
The Bess Streeter Aldrich Memorial Highway is the part of Highway 34 that starts at the Highway 34 and Highway 1 corner and goes to the county line near Eagle. It was named after Elmwood’s author Bess Streeter Aldrich and recieved this designation after E-M FBLA proposed the name change to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
